Two-time MAC Player of the Year for Women's Volleyball Lauren Wicinski has decided where she will continue playing next season.
After being granted her release from Northern Illinois at the end of the year, she has picked Michigan State.
Wicinski was a no-brainer for the award, crushing 662 kills her sophomore year, to lead the Huskies to a 28-7 overall record and the MAC title. She was also the first freshman to win the honor.
According to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle, a clash of personalities with coach Ray Gooden was the main driver behind Wicinski's departure.
