Previous Evening MAC Review: Get Busy Livin'

Duquesne 90, Bowling Green 54 — ... or get busy losin'. Oh, sweet merciful Ra. Why have you forsaken us with home blowouts to an average Atlantic 10 team? We did nothing to you. Spare us your burning UV rays! The Dukes finished on a 20-4 run to end the half, then poured even more salt on the catastrophe with a 49-34 second half. Only Jordon Crawford couldn't be stopped for BG as he rounded up 18 points (a career best) and three steals. Now let's never speak of this again. Bowling Green's next game: Friday, 11/26 vs. Niagara in the Legends Classic (Detroit)

San Diego State 77, Miami 56 — Not much solace here, either, as Miami finishes 1-2 in hits own hosted subregional of the CBE Classic. After being down as much as 12 in the first half, MU rallied to tie it early in the second, but a 12-minute scoring drought vaulted the Aztecs' lead to 25 before a RedHawks shot finally found twine. Charlie Coles appeared to be in rare form after the game. Nick Winbush finished in the clubhouse with a team-high 12 points, but everyone learned a valuable lesson about toying with ancient civilizations. Miami's next game: Friday, 11/26 at Ohio State
