Belt Loops: Temple And BG Are Equals, By The Transitive Property

Righteous MAC links to start off the week:

• Not only has Temple cruised through Villanova and Akron, but we know more about 'Nova as well. The Wildcats were destroyed 31-10 by Towson University, a team that rolled on Morgan State 42-3. Morgan State, if you recall, lost 58-13 to BGSU over the weekend. By the transitive property, Villanova just ain't that good this year. That or BG is on par with Temple. Neither are probably right. [The Nova Blog]

• We'll share this to typify the concern Ohio State writers and fans have for their team, but especially this one because "Rocky Rocket looks like a bad Power Rangers Halloween costume." [The Other Paper]

• Kangaroos are frightened by lightning. Akron had some nice offensive things going before the lightning strike, including a 35-yard Jawon Chisholm run and a 26-yard pass play. And then it just fell apart once the storm rolled in. Has to be the only explanation. [Ohio.com]

• Our selection of Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack as HB Player of the Week was validated by the College Football Performance Awards who listed Mack as the National Defensive Performer of the Week. [CFPA]

• The magic of the Stroh Center opening allowed BGSU volleyball to improve to 9-0 with wins over Michigan State, SIU-Edwardsville and Canisius. This is already more wins than they've had all of 2010. Yes this is a volleyball link. [BGSU Falcons]

• And this is also about soccer! The undefeated NIU team, ranked 20th in the country, remained perfect with a 4-0 thrashing of Portland. [NIU Huskies]
