Today In MAC Basketball Team Bus Tomfoolery News

I thought I was done for the day. We all thought this. And then it started snowing in the Ohio/Michigan region. As a result, Scott Thomas' night is just beginning as is the WMU women's basketball team.

According to tweets from BGSU basketball SID Jason Knavel, two packed bags fell from the team bus onto I-80/90 en route to a game they have at Kent State thanks to the bus driver forgetting to close the door below the cabin. It's unknown right now what all of the contents were, but it appears that one of the items was Thomas' bold orange No. 10 jersey.

I'm more than certain the team brings some spare jerseys for just such an occasion, so the team's most recent member of the 1,000-point club will have to step out of his comfort zone and wear another number. It's quite honestly a rather big game for BGSU, one that can bring them back in the conversation for top MAC East team, but man oh man if Thomas has to wear another jersey I hope he's able to get past that.

Also, it appears the Western Michigan women's basketball bus got stuck in the snow in front of senior Maria Iaquaniello's house. WMU plays a game at EMU tomorrow at 2 p.m. Fortunately that's not a long ride for them.

Stay safe out there, bus drivers. Here's the Saturday schedule:
