Kent State Radio Team Goes Nuts During Luke Batton's Touchdown

The Golden Flashes radio team goes hoarse during an 83-yard fumble return touchdown.

Clarification: that was Kent State wrestling coach Jim Andrassy who likely can't talk today after that radio call.

Ty Linder and Rob Polinsky are making a name for themselves as one of the most wildly enthusiasic radio tag teams in the MAC. You may remember them announcing the bizarre 21-inning game in the NCAA tournament in which Kent State knocked off Kentucky.

But in a wild second half against Western Michigan yesterday afternoon, KSU sealed its first six-win season since 2006, possibly locking up their first bowl invite since '71 '72, and who can blame them for losing their voice?

So that it doesn't get lost in the maddening shuffle, Luke Batton's 83-yard fumble return touchdown was pretty amazing as well. Those four missed tackles are likely a good reason those WMU players are on offense.
