Ohio Extends Jim Schaus through 2017

On the heels of the program's success in football and basketball, their athletic director was given a five-year extension.

No argument from anyone in the room on this one: after the school won its first career bowl game last year, basketball made the Sweet 16, and now Bobcats football is ranked for the first time in over 50 years, let's throw some love to the athletic director. Jim Schaus was named the Bobcats AD in 2008 today the school extended him through the 2017 season.

With Brad Bates departing from Miami to Boston College, it's a no-brainer to try and keep your management. It's hard to argue that there is any other MAC program firing on all cylinders at this moment. Perhaps they and Kent State are 1 and 1A.
