Zac Dysert's ascension up the MAC passing charts

The Miami (OH) quarterback is almost certain to break Ben Roethlisberger's career school passing record. But how far can he climb — and can he catch Byron Leftwich?

It's been a huge year for Zac Dysert in passing again: he ranks 21st in passing yards among all FBS quarterbacks with 2,225 yards, almost 278 yards per game. For his career he has surpassed the five-digit passing yard mark and stands at 10,755 yards, seventh most in MAC history and 74 yards beyind Ben Roethlisberger for the school record.

If he averages 278 yards per game over the last four games that'll put him at 11,867 career passing yards, 38 yards behind Byron Leftwich for No. 2 all time in MAC history. And they might even play in a bowl game.

He ain't catching the LeGold Standard though: Dan LeFevour has 12,905 career passing yards.
