Kent State Improves To 4-1, First Time Since '77

While we're all fawning over OHIO's wondrous season ... brace yourselves for the nouveau Golden Flashes. They play defense, they can score, and they'll beat you on special teams. That's basically what they did with a 41-14 throttling of winless Eastern Michigan. You can thank Dri Archer, mostly, but Trayion Durham also did some heavy lifting from the tailback spot and the defense held the Eagles to about 200 yards and forced two turnovers.

Their last winning season was 2001. Their last seven-win season was 1987. Two more wins and they become bowl eligible. THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN KENT STATE.
