Well, that got out of hand. Utah State rolls through Toledo 41-15

Yikes. Remember when this was a close game? The Rockets got close to the end zone a few times but could only muster a field goal, making it 13-9, and that's when Kerwynn Williams drove through Toledo so many times, he single-handedly financed a new turnpike. Touchdown runs of 63, 5 and 25 yards salted the game away, and he finished with 235 yards.

Terrance Owens finally showed up in the game in the fourth quarter but wasn't terribly effective: 6-for-17 for 30 yards. He caught an 11-yard pass on a throwback from Dwight Macon, but that was it. Bernard Reedy tacked on a kickoff return touchdown, a brilliant play to cut the lead to 19 points, and they even recovered an onside kick, but did nothing with it.

But the WAC champion Utah State Aggies won their bowl game and sent the WAC into the sunset correctly, which is nice.

Toledo finishes their season at 9-4, so let the Matt Campbell coaching rumors continue.
