Akron Zips forward Sina King will miss the entire 2013-14 season due to a recently discovered blood clot problem. King is coming off of a junior year in which she averaged 15 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, started all 33 games for the Zips and ended the year as an All-MAC Third Team selection.
King, entering into her senior season, was expected to play a key role for a Zips team that planned to return three double-digit scoring starters. She was recently selected as a Preseason All-MAC First team choice by College Sports Madness in anticipation of the upcoming season.
