Sunshine, sand, and Ohio Football. That's what's on deck this afternoon for the lucky Bobcats fans that made the trip down to St. Petersburg, Fla.. for the 2013 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl. A few minor issues though. The game is being played inside, under a dome. Oh, and most people don't believe Ohio stands a snowballs chance in south Florida tof beating East Carolina one. Nonetheless, being the devoted Mid-American conference fans that we are, many of us are going to watch every second of this game.
It's scheduled to kick off today at 2 p.m. on ESPN (that's right, no ESPN Dos for the MAC today). The 'Cats are looking to capture their third straight bowl win, and end the careers of several seniors on a high note after yet another terrible slump at the end of the season. The problem? ECU is damn good. Like one of the nation's best offenses good. Oh, and the Pirates can play defense too.
