Tod Kowalczyk added another big piece to his arsenal late Sunday night, when shooting guard Kyle Vinales announced he will be transferring to Toledo.

Vinales comes from Central Connecticut State, where he averaged 17.9 points per game as a freshman and 21.6 point last season. He'll have to sit out next year due to NCAA transfer rules and will likely have two seasons to play in the midnight blue and gold.
Vinales is originally from Detroit and is transferring due to CCSU's lack of postseason success. He joins a talented 2014-2015 Toledo roster including Justin Drummond and Juice Brown. If they can find a reliable post man, there's no reason that Rocket team can't contend for the conference championship. Of course, that's next year. But it's still fun to look ahead.
UPDATE: Well, this may not be happening. Jeff Goodman of CBS is reporting that nothing is official yet between Vinales and Toledo.
Hearing Central Connecticut transfer Kyle Vinales may not be a done deal to Toledo, per source.

In addition to that, Vinales has since deleted the tweet saying he's going to Toledo. So...now we wait.
UPDATE 2: Vinales himself now tweeting that he's taking more time to make his decision.
After praying and talkin to the people closest to I've decided to wait a little longer to make my decision. I'm still open to recruiting.
