I don't disagree; he's a tremendous wide receiver. My guess is he'll be eligible to play this season, but that part remains to be seen. I figured he'd play somewhere near his hometown of Houston, and Kansas certainly qualifies at that. I did not expect an FBS team to take a flier on him, and especially a Big XII one at that. But what do I know.
The Jayhawks played Northern Illinois in each of the last two seasons, but there are no MAC schools on their regular season schedule to further that narrative. Of course, they could always meet up in a BCS bowl game!
