VIDEO: Ohio softball player Alyssa Wolfe makes game-winning catch, runs over fence

And in a MAC Tournament game, no less!

The video pretty much outlines the situation, but if you prefer someone explaining things to you via text, here we go:

Ohio held a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the seventh (final inning) against Miami in an elimination game of the MAC Softball Tournament. With a runner on first base, Miami hitter Jenna Modic took Ohio pitcher Jo Dorsey deep for an apparent walkoff home run. Alyssa Wolfe, who went 1-for-2 in the game, made this running catch and barreled over the flimsy fence to end the game and advance.

It should also be known that Modic was the starting pitcher in this game, and did hit Wolfe with a pitch. Everybody get your #narrative in order.

The highlight has already made Internet waves, being shared by @espn, no less.

Ohio will play the winner of tonight's Kent State-Central Michigan contest tomorrow afternoon, which is a stern reminder that we should all be watching more softball.
