Bowling Green Trails Indiana 21-10 at Halftime

Halftime has been reached in Bloomington, Ind., and the Indiana Hoosiers lead the Bowling Green Falcons by 11 points.

Both teams spent much of the half taking turns trying to give away momentum, but eventually, Bowling Green made the most mistakes.  Several bad penalties at inopportune times hurt the Falcons, and the team had multiple dropped passes, including one by Jordan Hopgood that would have been an easy touchdown.  Tyler Tate also missed two field goals, including a 33-yard attempt at the end of the half.

Indiana ran up 363 yards of total offense, including 218 passing and 145 rushing.  Nate Sudfeld completed 12 of 21 passes for those 218 yards and a touchdown.  Stephen Houston rushed nine times for 96 yards, while Tevin Coleman had 59 yards on 12 carries, including two touchdowns.  Kofi Hughes caught four passes, one of which went for a touchdown, while Cody Latimer caught three passes for 40 yards.

For Bowling Green, the Falcons had 210 yards of total offense.  Matt Johnson was 13-for-25 with 153 yards passing.  Travis Greene and Ronnie Moore led the team with 15 yards rushing each.  Chris Gallon led all Falcon receivers with six catches and 62 yards.

Bowling Green will receive the second half kickoff.
