FINAL: Bowling Green Mistakes Drive 42-10 Loss at Indiana

It's over in Bloomington, Ind., and the Bowling Green Falcons have fallen in an unexpected 42-10 rout to the Indiana Hoosiers.

After falling behind at halftime by a 21-10 count, Bowling Green had several opportunities to score in the second half but could never convert.  Meanwhile, the Falcons could not find any answers against the Indiana offense.  They allowed three second half touchdowns and over 600 yards of total offense to the Hoosiers.

Perhaps the biggest surprise was Indiana's 267 yards rushing.  Stephen Houston ran for 155 yards on 13 carries, while Tevin Coleman earned 130 yards of his own on 19 rushes.  Coleman also had two touchdown runs.

Bowling Green's running game never got going in the way it did during the first two weeks, and Travis Greene was the leading rusher for the Falcons with just 43 yards.  Matt Johnson, in just his second career start, was not nearly as effective as he was last week.  He completed only 26 of 46 passes and threw an interception.

A complete recap of this game will be available later tonight here at Hustle Belt.
