FINAL: Kent State Dismantled 45-13 By LSU

It's not hard to figure out how Kent State lost this one.  Dri Archer did not play much, and when he did, he was pretty much invisible.  Kent State gained fewer than 250 yards of total offense, while LSU totaled nearly 600.  The Golden Flashes allowed 300 rushing yards.  And when KSU had opportunities on the Tiger side of the field, they could not convert those chances into touchdowns.

It isn't a fun night for Kent State fans, but the game really doesn't mean anything in the long run.  Despite falling to 1-2 overall, the team still has seven more Mid-American Conference games ahead of them.  They'll play Penn State next week before getting back to the MAC schedule in two weeks at Western Michigan.

A complete recap of the game will be available later tonight.
