The Minutemen tried their hardest in this one and for awhile things were looking good. But ultimately the Commodores were too much to handle. UMass fell 24-7 after Vandy rattled off two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal the deal and hand UMass its fourth loss of the year.
A.J. Doyle suffered an ankle injury of some sort in the game as well and Mike Wegzyn closed out the game for the Minutemen.
