Not much more to report here than we did at halftime. The Falcons simply dominated on offense, earning 660 total yards. That number blows away the Dave Clawson-era record that was set just two weeks ago at Kent State and comes within just 46 yards of the all-time school record, which was set in 1978.
Bowling Green did allow Murray State to record 195 yards of offense in the second half, but a lot of that was helped by the fact that Bowling Green committed some really untimely penalties on defense. The team had six penalties for 57 yards in the second half, including four on defense, after just one in the first 30 minutes. On MSU's lone touchdown drive, the Falcons had two pass interference penalties.
However, this was an outstanding effort for Bowling Green overall. We'll have a complete recap later tonight right here at Hustle Belt.
