Ball State 31 - Toledo 24

Very exciting game and both quarterbacks played very well. Jahwan Edwards led the way for the Cardinals with another three-touchdown performance.

NIU 55 - Purdue 24

Dear ESPN,

Please stop referring to NIU wins like these as "upsets". The Huskies are a a good team and should be respected as such.

Sincerely,

the Hustle Belt community.

Bowling Green 31 - Akron 14

The Zips took a 14-10 lead at halftime, but it's about how you finish, not how you start. If Pohl keeps playing this well for the rest of the season, it's only a matter of time before Akron gets their first FBS win since 2010.

Kent State 32 - Western Michigan 14

Dri Archer came back, but the rushing attack was led by Traiyon Durham with his 154 yards and pair of touchdowns. [Insert really lame joke involving a boat and/or oar].

Buffalo 41 - UConn 12

Joe Licata had a pretty good day, completing 10 out of his 19 attempted passes for 177 yards with three touchdowns. This was also Buffalo's first win over UConn since 2001.

Central Michigan 14 - NC State 48

Just an all around bad day for Dan Enos 'n friends. Cooper Rush contributed to both teams, so that was nice.

Miami 14 - Illinois 50

Illinois put up 43 points until Austin Boucher got the RedHawks on the board in the third quarter. I'm more concerned as to why RedHawks is all one word.
