North Texas vs. Ohio: The Bobcats Come Out on Top

It wasn't a pretty second half for the Ohio Bobcats, but two Matt Green field goals proved just enough to win the game for Ohio.

Tyler Tettleton threw two interceptions in the third quarter alone, and the Mean Green scored on back-to-back possessions in the third to knot the game up at 21.

A 31-yard Derek Thompson slant to Carlos Harris brought North Texas within a touchdown. After Tettleton's second interception, the Meanie Weanie Greenies drove 56 yards over eight plays to make things 21-21.

But Tyler Tettleton would be on his game in the fourth quarter, leading the Bobcats on drives of 55 and 62 respectively, with both ending in three points for the home team.

It would prove just enough as the Bobcats' Xavier Hughes capitalized on a tip drill ball that landed safely into his arms to secure the Ohio win by a score of 27-21.
