The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association announced its Academic All-Ohio Teams on Sunday, Jan. 12 and senior midfielder/forward Kaitlyn Tobin and senior midfielder/forward Madeline Wideman from the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team received third team honors.

Tobin started 14 of BGSU's 17 games and was tied for leading goalscorer with three goals. She also finished second on the team with six points and scored the equalizer in a 1-1 draw against eventual Mid-American Conference East Division champion Miami.

She also played a total of 945 of BGSU's 1,030 total minutes in conference play, starting all 11 MAC games. She started 44 games out of 66 with a total of 11 points from four goals and three assists in her career as a Falcon.

Off the field, Tobin majored in psychology and had a cumulative grade-point average of 3.802.

Wideman started all 17 games this season, one of only three Falcons to do so, and led the team alongside Tobin with three goals while also posting three assists and nine points on the year. She led the team in with 40 total shots and 17 shots on target.

She also completed a three-game scoring streak in late September, which is a BGSU best, and was involved in the scoring of 67 percent of the Falcons goals during the season. She also started 64 of the 76 matches in her career and played in all but one of them.

Her career totals of 28 points consisting of eight goals and 12 assists, leads all players of BGSU's 2013 season in all three of those categories.

As a health science major, Wideman had a cumulative GPA of 3.764.
