Mike Hart Leaves Ypsilanti for Western Michigan

Mike Hart just kept his job as Eastern Michigan's running back coach, but now left to join P.J. Fleck at Western Michigan.

Many reports show that running backs coach Mike Hart, the only assistant that head coach Chris Creighton kept from Ron English's staff, has left Eastern Michigan to be the new running backs coach over at Western Michigan.

In 2013, the Broncos were second to last in rushing yards per game in the Mid-American Conference (116.2) and had a total of 10 touchdowns. The team's two leading rushers, Dareyon Chance and Brian Fields, are finished with their collegiate careers after playing through their senior seasons.

Looking at the recruiting classes, EMU only has one running back as a hard commit, Ian Erikson. WMU, on the other hand, has three running backs that are committed to the Brown and Gold in 2014. Those players are Leo Ekwoge, Jamauri Bogan and Jarvion Franklin.
