This game could carry MAC West title implications if Northern Illinois loses to Western Michigan in their contest starting two hours earlier. If the Huskies win, they will punch their tickets to the MAC Championship, but if the Broncos prevail, a Toledo victory sends the Rockets to Detroit, and an EMU upset earns Western Michigan a chance to beat Bowling Green again, this time at Ford Field.
