John Cooper has shown he's a master recruiter. The coach not only lured in Willie Moore on the transfer scene from the University of Oregon, he's also already signed several players to his 2014 recruiting class that are among the best at their positions in their respective states.
With a little more than a week to go before the final singing period begins, Cooper made another splash on the recruiting trail when he got a commitment from JUCO small forward Kalif Wright early Tuesday, per VerbalCommits.com.

Wright, the fourth member in Cooper's 2014 class, is a big 6-foot-7, 240 pound small forward out of Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas. Originally from Oak Hill, West Virginia, Wright has spent the past two seasons playing JUCO ball at Kilgore, and has two years of eligibility remaining.
This past season Wright averaged 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for Kilgore, helping lead the team to 27-6 record on the season.
A physical small forward, Wright, with incoming freshman Roderick Mills, should provide the RedHawks with an interior game. This past season, Miami ran with three or more guards on the court often. The 'Hawks are a lanky team, and Wright's going to give them someone to matchup with the more physical wings around the MAC such as Akron's Demetrius Treadwell.
