The top five stayed the same. Georgia and USC both dropped rather far, following their losses to South Carolina and Boston College respectively. South Carolina, despite beating Georgia, is still ranked below them, because COLLEGE FOOTBAWL. Virginia Tech fell out of the poll after falling to ECU, and BYU, the lone Group of Five member ranked shot up four spots to No. 21 after beating Houston in a wacky Thursday night game.
Baylor and Missouri both moved up, making Buffalo and Toledo's respective loses look better.
Still no votes for the MAC, which is rather surprising considering the number of votes for both Marshall and Cincinnati.
The MAC does face off with some ranked teams this week. Bowling Green faces off with No. 19 Wisconsin after knocking off Indiana a week ago. Eastern Michigan has the unfortunate task of taking on No. 11 Michigan State in East Lansing Saturday as well. Both games are at noon.
How do we feel about these rankings?
