#MACtion Open Chat: THE REAL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL HAS ARRIVED

You've gotta love a Michigan MAC Trophy matchup at The Factory to start off the weeknight #MACtion season.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

We've made it, ya'll!

It's about time that we got to Week 9 on the schedule, because Week 9 means late October, which means NATIONALLY TELEVISED WEEKNIGHT #MACTION!!! Who doesn't love that!?

This week's slate includes not one, but two games to air simultaneously, so be sure to check your cable subscriptions and get those extra screens out.

This week starts the Michigan MAC Trophy matchup in earnest, as Western Michigan (4-3, 3-0 MAC) travels to Ypsilanti to face Eastern Michigan at The Factory. WMU can clinch the Michigan MAC trophy for the second year in a row if they neat EMU, and would be the first team to do so since Central Michigan in 2009.

There is also a battle brewing in the brickyards of Miami University, where the RedHawks (1-7, 0-4 MAC) will host the Buffalo Bulls (3-4, 1-2 MAC, who look to string together two straight conference wins after throttling Ohio last week.

Here is where you can find the games tonight:
