#MACtion Open Chat: Spooky good Halloween (afternoon) football is nigh!

Put on your costume and partake in some good ol' #MACtion before you go about your yearly Halloween activities!

Nick Cammett-USA TODAY Sports

Halloween on a college campus is a time unlike any other. There's a lot of sexy and/or potentially offensive fun and creative costumes, hella beer candy, and total ragers that tear down campuses and usually result in arrests great times with friends that will be cherished well after you leave with that super expensive piece of paper in your hand.

Thankfully this time around, you won't have to choose between your favorite MAC team and your fourth-favorite drinking merrymaking holiday! Four teams played yesterday, four more find themselves in a BYE week, and four play this afternoon. Joy!

Akron (3-4, 2-2 MAC) is fresh off of a BYE week and looking to assert their domination on the defensive side after getting absolutely blitzed by Bowling Green, giving up an uncharacteristic 58 points. Meanwhile, Central Michigan (4-4, 3-1 MAC) is coming of of their first win against Ball State in five years and find themselves in the thick of the MAC West race.

Speaking of Ball State (2-6, 0-3 MAC), they look to rebound after two straight clunkers, where their defense crumbled in the second half of games and the offense, led by true freshmen Riley Neal and James Gilbert, went throuhg gorwing pains. UMass (1-6, 0-3 MAC) is in the midst of a disappointing season, and looked to have an epic upset at home brewing before #20 Toledo lambasted a poor UMass pass defense for 35 unanswered points to cover a 14.5 spread. They seek to go out on a good note in their last season in the MAC.

Without further ado, here is the schedule:
