Erie CC (Buffalo, NY) ATH Jaquan McCullough has committed to the University of Massachusetts for the 2016 season.

McCullough, a 6'1" 200lbs athlete, elected to join the Minutemen as a preferred walk-on, meaning he will be working towards a full scholarship while competing with the team.

A perhaps major factor in that decision is that McCullough is cousins with current Minuteman Marquis Young, a true freshman RB who exploded on the scene for UMass this season and finished the year with 960 yards rushing and seven touchdowns.

McCullough plays mostly in the defensive backfield for Erie, and UMass fans will likely see him come in and play in the secondary for the Minutemen as well
