What a year it has been in this league. With just two games left in the season for every team, there is still a chance for most of the teams in the league to get into one of the four bye positions. If a team doesn't get to a bye, then they have to win five games in a span of six days in order to grad the MAC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
Tonight's games will be fun. Akron goes to Miami with revenge and a chance at a top-four seed on their minds. Toledo goes to Central Michigan for a week one rematch that could decide who takes that coveted number one seed. Buffalo hosts Ohio with intentions of sticking it to the Bobcats after Ohio beat Buffalo on a last second dunk earlier in the season. Kent State will go to the Stroh Center to try and split their series with the Falcons, and avoid a three-game losing streak. Eastern Michigan can help their chances of getting a tournament home game by giving Ball State its fifteenth loss in a row (sorry, Keith). Currently projected as the eight-seed, Western Michigan needs a win at Northern Illinois to stay in the hunt for a top-four seed.
