According to a report in the Bowling Green Sentinel-Tribune, BG freshman defensive back Nick Johnson was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman on campus on April 6. Johnson was named to the All-MAC Second Team last year as a true freshman Johnson who made five interceptions, tying a record for most in school history by a freshman. Johnson has been suspended indefinitely from the football team, the university said.
