2016 Football Recruiting: 3-star Kent State commit ATH Tyrece Speaight receives offer from Miami RedHawks

Current Kent State verbal, WR/DB Tyrece Speaight announced on his Twitter page that he has received an offer from coach Martin and the Miami RedHawks. Speaight committed to the Golden Flashes in January and currently lists other offers from Cincinnati, Ball State, and EMU. With a long ways to go until National Signing Day 2016 it is clear that other schools are still trying to recruit the 5-foot-10 186 pound athlete. Many experts predict Speaight will wind up signing with a B1G school so it will be interesting to see how his recruitment plays out. It may sound a little gloomy for Kent State to hold onto the talented 3-star ATH(especially after reading this tweet), however don't underestimate the value in the opportunity for early playing time, which is something that the Golden Flashes could most likely offer.
