Bowling Green is the latest Mid-American Conference program to hit a hot streak on the recruiting trail. On Saturday class of 2016 recruit Terence Stephens of West Allegheny Senior High School in Imperial, Pennsylvania became the third prospect to give Dino Babers and the BGSU coaching staff a verbal commitment in recent weeks.
"I took a visit up there early in the year and I liked the atmosphere. I felt comfortable." The 6'1 190 pound Stephens stated to Hustle Belt as the reasons that made his decision to attend Bowling Green an easy one.
Joining wide out Kyree Calli (Harrisburg,PA/Bishop McDevitt) and defensive end Sharif Saleem (Cleveland/Central Catholic) in the Falcons class, Stephens, a two-way standout at West Allegheny will get a chance to crack the Bowling Green line up at running back.
Suiting up for head coach Bob Palko at last season, Stephens finished his junior year with 912 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground while also accounting for over 50 total tackles and two sacks on defense to help lead the Indians to an overall record of 11-2.
