2016 Miami Football Recruiting: DE TaMarion Johnson commits
WR/DE TaMarion Johnson announced his commitment to the RedHawks on Thursday morning via his Twitter account. Johnson currently attends Bradford Academy located in Southfield, Michigan and is Miami's 11th commitment. The 6-foot-5 200 pound athlete chose the RedHawks over a reported offer from Toledo. Shortly after he announced his decision, we caught up with Johnson to find out why he chose Miami.
"I chose Miami because I love the coaching staff and the academic side and the campus was what I was looking for. I feel like I can grow here and become great."
Johnson could develop into a productive defensive end as he has the size once he pounds over the next year or so. Miami is off to yet another great start on the recruiting trail and is giving WMU a run for their money for the top recruiting class in the MAC.
