Belt Loops: Jarvion Franklin lead the MAC in rushing touchdowns again. True or False?

Jarvion Franklin was one of the nation's top rushing scorers as a true freshman. Will he suffer from having a "sophomore slump" though?

Jarvion Franklin played out of his freaking skull last year with the Western Michigan Broncos.

The Tinley Park, Illinois native was fourth in the nation in 2014 with 24 touchdowns on 306 carries and 1,551 yards. In his very first game, Franklin had 163 rushing yards with three scores in a 43-34 loss on the road against the Purdue Boilermakers. It didn't take long for everybody to go from "Who's Jarvion Franklin?" to "That's Jarvion Franklin." A 220-pound back with already advanced mental athleticism, he was hard to bring down near the goal line. Franklin's streak of games with at least one touchdown stretched from the end of August through the first of November.

Franklin's spectacular performance, all made possible when you have Mike Hart as your running backs coach, provides a ton of optimism for the Bronco fans in Kalamazoo. The offense, in terms of popularity, is pretty A1. Zach Terrell handsomely, has owned the quarterback position. His job is even easier with Corey Davis (led the MAC in receiving yards) and Daniel Braverman (led the MAC in total receptions) as other skilled weapons to work with. There's a ton of firepower that's returning from last year's roster, but things could get messy if Franklin doesn't keep punching it in at the line.
