"I called coach Campbell and he was fired up. He told me I'm going to be leading the class that's ready to get going. I love the times I went up there. The coaches are straight with me and I'm going to play there early. They win games and I have bonds with players and we are going to do some things there with Coach Campbell." The three-star prospect, who played at Akron St. Vincent St. Mary, but will finish his high school career at Upper Arlington stated to Hustle Belt soon after announcing his commitment via his Twitter page.

Kent State and Toledo weren't the only programs after Tyrece. Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Miami, and Cincinnati are just a few of the other programs to reportedly offer Speaight throughout the process. According to the 247Sports Composite, the 5'10, 185-pound standout is currently ranked the 53rd athlete, and 742nd overall prospect in the 2016 class.

With Speaight now in the fold the Rockets class of 2016 is currently sitting at 13 verbal commitments. Wanting to help build the Rockets into a powerhouse in the Mid-American Conference, Tyrece has a few prospects he plans to try to convince to join him at Toledo.

Defensive end Bryce Hargrove (Akron/Coventry), athlete Markus Hurd (Akron/St.Vincent St. Mary), and receiver Mike Smith (Upper Arlington/Upper Arlington) are just a few of the recruits Speaight has set his eyes on.
