2016 WMU commit, 3-star LB Eric Rogers tears ACL, out for senior season

1

Scout's Eric Rutter reported earlier this afternoon that 3-star linebacker Eric Rogers tore his ACL recently.

Rogers took to Twitter to announce that he will be unable to play his senior season at De La Salle (MI) and wished his teammates the best.

Last year, WMU had something similar happen with 2015 signee ATH Justin Tranquill who also suffered a torn ACL and missed his senior season.

Tranquill actually had a rather smooth rehab process as he was able to return to the field a few months earlier than expected.

It wouldn't come as a surprise to see Tranquill reach out in some way and offer advice on the recovery process. Hustle Belt wishes Eric the best of luck throughout his recovery.
