OHH NELLY, HERE WE GO.
The Rockets are now 2-0 after knocking off Iowa State at home 30-23 in double overtime. Last week, they re-took the top spot in our rankings after they beat a then-ranked Arkansas team on the road.
Northern Illinois won their first two games against UNLV and Murray State, but impressed a lot of people that tuned into their road matchup against the defending national champions. They lost to Ohio State 20-13, but caused five turnovers.
Bowling Green flipped with Northern Illinois and is down to three in the rankings after losing the shootout against Memphis 44-41. Ohio remains at four and is the only unbeaten team with an overall record of 3-0 after taking care of SE Louisiana. The Broncos also stay put at five after beating Murray State, their first win of the season.
Riley Neal put on a great performance in the MAC opener against Eastern Michigan, moving the Cardinals up to six and the Eagles down a spot to 11.
