- 300+ players invited to go to the NFL Scouting Combine are starting to come to Indianapolis to get sized up, do some interviews, all before taking their on-field workouts throughout the weekend. Again, from the MAC, there's five players that'll be participating: Roger Lewis, Kavon Frazier, Willie Beavers, Alonzo Russell and Tajae Sharpe.
- You'll notice none of those five names include the 2015 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year from the MAC: Matt Johnson and Jatavis Brown. Sports Day talked to the two and cried out about lame that is. To be honest, it's only an okay article, and I feel really awkward putting the words "NFL Scouting Combine" and "snubs" together, but the Combine is a big deal for these players, because it's used as a huge tool for their draft stock. These workouts shouldn't be treated as the end-all-be-all, but when two of the best talents from the MAC don't get invites for this, it's frustrating.
- 245 days until mid-week #MACtion, yo.
- Check out the wheels on this QB that committed to WMU earlier in the week.
