2016 RB Matt Falcons signs with Western Michigan
One-time Michigan commit has finally signed pen to paper and will player at Western Michigan under P.J. Fleck. Unfortunately, Falcon did not play his senior season after suffering a torn ACL. If you recall correctly, coach Harbaugh told Falcon a few months ago that he was welcome to attend Michigan however he would not see the football field. Despite this, Harbaugh promised to honor Falcon's scholarship. Falcon ultimately decided that he would rather go elsewhere so he can actually play football and ultimately decided upon Western Michigan. Falcon reportedly listed offers from schools such as Arizona State, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, N.C. State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue, Tennessee, UCLA, and West Virginia among others. Falcon has had some trouble staying healthy in the past, however the talent is clearly there. It will be interesting to see how quickly he sees the field in Kalamazoo assuming that he is healthy upon his arrival onto campus.
