Connar Tava will not finish fifth year at Western Michigan, will transfer to another institution

In somewhat stunning news, Connar Tava, one of the key pieces from WMU's NCAA Tournament team in 2014, is stepping away from the basketball program and transferring institutions, effective immediately. The two-time all-MAC honorable mention, who graduates from WMU this year with a finance major and economics minor, will pursue a master's in business administration at a different institution, which as of right now, is currently unknown. There is no indication if he will continue his basketball career at the new school, but after two major foot surguries sidelined him last season, doubts are high. Tava finishes with 965 points and 516 rebounds as a Bronco.
