The football offseason is terrible, we know. Sure, there’s things to do like hang out with family and friends or you may have hobbies or interests that warrant some attention, but there is nothing like football. And from January to July each year we all live a football-less existence. There’s other sports. There’s recruiting. There’s baseball. But when you want football, only football will do.
On Thursday, the first salvo of the football season is fired in earnest, as the Mid-American Conference hosts its 2016 edition of Football Media Day from Detroit’s Ford Field. It’s a veritable Who’s Who in the Mid-American Conference, as the Commish will be there, each coach, and two player representatives from each program. Hustle Belt will also be there, digging deep for some news and notes that you’ll need to know in advance of the conference’s September 1 opening slate.
