2017 WMU Commit WR Chris Bell Receives CMU Offer, What’s The Latest?

Western Michigan commit WR Chris Bell has been committed to the Broncos for about six months. On Tuesday, he received an offer from Central Michigan.

2017 Kankakee (IL.) WR Chris Bell has been committed to Western Michigan since February, nearly six months ago. However, on Tuesday night Bell received another MAC offer from Central Michigan.

Despite being 100-percent committed to P.J. Fleck and the Western Michigan program, he still has some interest in his latest offer Central Michigan and what they have to offer him.

“I’m very blessed to receive the offer from Central Michigan, it’s an honor,” Bell commented. “Both their head coach (John Bonamego) and receivers coach (Mose Rison) want me to be the next big thing there. They would love me there.”

Bell is still 100-percent committed to the Broncos. He tells us that he talked to the Western Michigan coaching staff recently about his new offer.

“I am 100% committed to Western Michigan. It's a special place, it’s a special staff, WMU is amazing, I love it. I talked to the staff and they’re just nervous about commits leaving, but I'm staying 110-percent.”

As far as a potential visit to CMU, Bell says he will make sure to consult the coaching staff as well as his family before scheduling any type of visit.

“I’ll do whatever my coaches say. I’ll talk to my family about that and go from there.”

Chris Bell is a very good athlete and under-the-radar type of receiver. Expect him to get some more offers as the recruiting trail gets closer to National Signing Day.
