Whatever Kent State is pitching, recruits are buying it. Zayin West is the latest recruit to commit to Kent State, their fourth commit in just over a week.

Kent State was his first reported offer back in March, and they are the only FBS program to offer.
As a junior, West was named 1st Team All-Conference while playing offensive line and 2nd team All-Conference for his play at defensive tackle.
Despite being a successful high school player on both sides of the ball, I’d expect West to line up at defensive tackle with Kent State. He has the makings of a solid pass rusher and could develop into a nice role player with the Golden Flashes. The Kent State coaching staff has proven it is capable of developing under-the-radar recruits on the defensive side of the football into some of the top players in the conference.
