Friday night at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, the Ball State Cardinals will kickoff their 2016 season against the Georgia State Panthers from the Sun Belt Conference. It’s the first game as head coach for legendary BSU quarterback Mike Neu, and it’s time for a hype video. Get excited, Ball State fans.

Friday’s game is the first of four non-conference matchups for Ball State. Georgia State joins the Indiana Hoosiers, Eastern Kentucky Colonels, and Florida Atlantic Owls before the Cardinals start Mid-American Conference play on October 1st against Northern Illinois.
After the season opener, GSU has a month of games outside of Georgia. The Panthers will be treated to road matchups with the Air Force Falcons, Wisconsin Badgers, and Appalachian State Mountaineers.
Ball State and Georgia State from the Georgia Dome is scheduled to get underway at 7pm ET. The Panthers are currently listed as a five and a half point favorite. Tonight’s game can be seen on ESPN3 as well as the American Sports Network.
