How to watch Appalachian State at Akron: Game time, TV, live stream, and more

Two weeks into the 2016 season, no one quite knew what to expect, still, from the Akron Zips. Even here at Hustle Belt, the same site that picked Akron to win the MAC East and then the MAC Championship, we had no idea which Akron we were going to get week in and week out. There was the Akron that looked sharp while blowing out FCS VMI in week one, and then getting their own blowout at the hands of Wisconsin.

Akron fans hope week three gave that needed perspective, as the Zips went on the road to Marshall and laid the wood to the Thundering Herd, 65-38. It was an impressive performance across the board in virtually every facet of the game, one that even saw Akron overcome a slow start.

This week, the Zips will need the same all-unit performance, but will likely need it for all four quarters. The Mountaineers of Appalachian State may be the best 1-2 team in the land, suffering losses at the hands of Tennessee and Miami. It’s a FunBelt-MACtion showdown that you will want to catch.
