I can’t remember the last time that a game I wanted to watch was not on television. Alas, such is the case tonight with the Ball State/Florida Atlantic game, broadcast on an internet stream from FAU’s website (for a fee). I can’t imagine that this is what Howard Schnellenberger had in mind when he built the Owls’ program.
Regardless, this is an absolutely vital game for Ball State, who look to climb to 3-1 on their out of conference slate. OOC wins are of the utmost importance given their MAC West counterparts and the killer schedule the Cardinals have in conference. So, tonight’s game is big.
FAU has a 1-2 record, but their two losses were both on the road and both against major opponents (Kansas State and Miami).
