How to watch Georgia Southern @ Western Michigan: Game time, TV, live stream, and more

WMU gunning for a 4-0 start to 2016

The story of the Mid-American Conference this year may very well be PJ Fleck and the Western Michigan Broncos, who have sprinted out to a 3-0 start, are gunning for a perfect non-conference schedule today with a win over Georgia Southern, and are looking to catapult themselves into MAC play with another win over a quality opponent.

WMU already has wins over Northwestern and Illinois, but in some respects Georgia Southern may very well be the best team in their non-conference slate. The Eagles may not have a marquee win like WMU, but they are also 3-0 and have prided themselves on excellence in execution and not beating themselves. For WMU to get the W, it’s going to need to earn it.

This is also a chance to avenge a 2015 defeat for Fleck and the Broncos. The Eagles bested WMU 43-17 last year, and you can bet the staff and players of Western Michigan remember that game in the Peach State.
