There is quite simply no better example for a program to follow the example of than Northern Illinois. They have been able to consistently win through coach transition, player turnover, and in-conference talent that you would think would be tired of the Huskies running roughshod over the Mid-American Conference. Programs and fans hate what they ain’t, and the hatred for NIU stretches throughout the MAC. NIU should wear it as a badge of honor. They are the standard.
