Not a bad collection this week. A pair of autographed items, a unique dual bobblehead, a piece of Toledo and technology history, and something from Central Michigan University. Scoop up that last item to wear at Chippewa football games and you’ll get some questions, I’m sure. Your September 30th MAC Gems:
Northern Illinois Autographed Football

The seller states that this is a “game used” football, yet offers no back story or COA whatsoever. So Keith is going to tell you that he or she is full of crap, and this ball never saw the field. There are a handful of recognizable signatures on the ball. Joe Novak was the head coach at Northern Illinois from 1996 through 2007. Bill Mallory led the Huskies from 1980 through 1983, and Pat Culpepper was head coach from 1976-1979. This is a cool piece bro, but no one is going to take your word for it that it is “game used.” 225 bucks after shipping if you want it on your shelf.
Eastern Michigan Ben Braun Charles Ramsey Bobblehead
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/7198653/s-l1600.jpg)
A little expensive, but this would look good on your office desk. Ben Braun spent 11 seasons as head basketball coach at Eastern Michigan. His 1995-96 team went 25-6 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Then he turned that success into bigger money. He spent 12 seasons at Cal, then 6 at Rice. Ypsilanti native Charles Ramsey would follow in Braun’s footsteps years later, with considerably less success. Ramsey led the Eagles for six seasons, compiling a record of 68-118. Pick up this collectible for 26 bucks after shipping, though the seller will hear offers. I’m willing to bet you can get it for under $20.

I laughed out loud when I saw this. I’m unsure why. Maybe just because it’s a thing. You’re going to want to make sure you have a VCR. If you look up in the right hand corner, you’ll notice that when this went on sale in 1992, it sold for $19.99. Keith used an inflation calculator and learned that today that would cost you over $34. But for 75 years of excitement, maybe that’s a smoking deal. Today it can be had for $24 after shipping, or $14.08 in 1992.
Buffalo Bulls Game Used Autographed Football

Hey! We have a little more info this time! How great is that? With the purchase you get a COA from the American Football Coaches Association supporting the authenticity of this ball. This football was used in Buffalo’s 56-34 win over the Morgan State Bears on September 8th, 2012. The ball is autographed by coach Jeff Quinn. Quinn was head coach of the Bulls from 2010-2014. Today he is an assistant coach with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. If this time in Buffalo Bulls football history is a fond memory for you, $250 should be easy to part with.

World Finals of what? Who the hell knows? TELL ME WHAT I’M LOOKING AT. This is an extra-small so it’s DEFINITELY not working for Keith. It could work for you though. It’s a sweet vintage piece that can be yours for about a 20 dollar bill, but bidding ends tomorrow, so act fast.
